Bats are of great ecological importance, mainly in pollinating flowers and spreading seeds, bats also reduce insect pests, reducing the need for pesticides.
In many cultures, bats are associated with darkness, malevolence, witchcraft, vampires and death.
I just find them endlessly fascinating and wonderful.
Nandor is handmade from paper pulp and finished with acrylic paint.
He is about 10 cm tall (including the ears) and 18 cm wide (including the wings).
Nandor will be carefully wrapped and packaged before he will be shipped off.
