Bats are of great ecological importance, mainly in pollinating flowers and spreading seeds, bats also reduce insect pests, reducing the need for pesticides.
In many cultures, bats are associated with darkness, malevolence, witchcraft, vampires and death.
I just find them endlessly fascinating and wonderful.
Snout is handmade from paper pulp and finished with acrylic paint.
He is about 12,5 cm tall (ears included) and 16 cm wide (including the wings).
Snout will be carefully wrapped and packaged before he will be shipped off.
Each and every one of my Mierpapier creations is lovingly handmade with a great amount of care and attention to detail.
I always try to put a little something of myself in each of my paper companions.
